After returning from some traveling over the holidays, Filius Lunae starts off the year with plenty of ideas for upcoming posts.
I thank you all for your companionship on all these linguistic issues discussed here, as they teach us not only about the languages themselves, but also about the people who speak them, their cultures and their societies.
For now, I wish you all a happy 2011 year.
Feliz ano novo!
¡Feliz año nuevo!
Bonne année!
La mulți ani!
As a linguistic note, relating to Romance, of course, the Romanian expression generally used to wish someone a "happy new year" corresponds to what is said to someone on their birthday to wish them a "happy birthday": la mulți ani — to many years.

La multi ani si tie!
Sa ai un an mai bun decat precedentul si cat mai multe articole in romana!
Mulțumesc frumos de mesajul tău.
Să știți, românilor, că-mi place foarte mult să citesc comentări în limba română. :)
